Major Projects For Review

The PTA Projects Committee along with the Cordova Park Administration present the following MAJOR PROJECTS for the 2018-2019 school year.

  • $3,295 - Reflex Math Software for CPE Students - Reflex is fun… and it works! Reflex makes it easy to get students math fact fluent and ready for more complex math. Assessment, coaching, and practice is delivered via a fun, game-based approach. And because it is fully adaptive, students get the individualized instruction they need to be successful. This software will be available for CPE students while at school AND at home. Find out more at https://www.reflexmath.com.
  • $5,000 - Jogging Track Improvements and other PTA Projects - The Escambia County School District has approved funds for the installation of a jogging track at CPE. The track is anticipated to be completed before the end of the summer. PTA would like to set aside $5,000 for use in making improvements to the track and PE area in the form of benches, landscaping, etc. After improvements have been made, remaining funds will used for additional PTA projects as needed.

After advertising for two weeks, the PTA Board will vote to approve these projects. If you have any questions, please contact Projects Committee members April Schweigert at (850) 356-0817 or Sarah Ryan at (850) 450-7140.
