Mrs. Thompson's Third Grade Class

A.R. Corner

In our classroom, we earn A.R. points for Cordova Park's Bronco Club and also from the classroom Prize List.  The Prize list begins with 5 A.R. points and goes up to 125 points.  This list is posted on the A.R. bulletin board. In our classroom, chapter books are still labelled according to levels. However, their spines have also been color coded according to A.R. levels. Now the class library stays more organized and has a more colorful look.

Are You Ready for I-Ready?

I-Ready

09/06/18

I-Ready is a new computer program we are using this year. It provides testing and practice for Reading and Math. It will be a great learning tool because all students work at their individual level. They work and practice on targeted skills. Our class has finished the diagnostic testing and has begun working on individual lesson paths.

Tips for Staying Organized in Our Class

* In our classroom this year, Math Folders are blue and Language Arts Folders are yellow.

* When weekly papers and Citizenship cards go home on Friday, please return only the signed Citizenship card.  The papers are for you to keep.

* Homework folders come home every day. Please check the front pocket for important papers.

* Planners come home Mondays through Thursdays. Please check every night to make sure homework is done.
